This conference.organised by the Secretariat General and the Working Group EU-relations of the Alps Adriatic Working Community in cooperation with the Department for Spatial Planning of the Land Kärnten will present examples of „Best practice projects“ of cross-border and transnational co-operation within the Members of Alps-Adriatic Working Community. Furthermore there will be information about the new opportunities and necessities for cross-border and transnational co-operation in the Alps-Adriatic Area (new EU Objective 3 „European Territorial Co-operation“, new organisational structures, EGTC as legal instrument for programming and projects, national support, IPA, etc). In two panel discussions possible fields of co-operation and future AA-projects will be discussed.
